Chemical Peel

I went there last June for a routine chemical peel. I had had the procedure done for the last 3 years at another doctor's office but since I moved to a new state I wanted to find someone closer. Dr. Adams came highly reccommend. Needless to say I would not reccommend her to anyone. She wash my face down with alcohol, which is normal. She then proceeded to put acetone on my face (because to her my face was still oily) and then the chemical peel, she burnt the crap out of my face. I told her to take it off due to the fact it was buring but she said for me to hold on for 2 more minutes to reach the desired time. She had never done a peel on me and I thought (fault of my own) she would go to the lowest degree since she had never done a peel on me or at least take it off when I asked! I had scars on my face for 4 weeks after her and was out $230.00. She gave no pre advice to prep for this and her post advice was a joke. I thought she knew what she was doing because she was african american dermatologist. I should have known better because I could tell the lady that left prior to me (who was very dark skin) was burned too. I now take to 2 hour trip back home to get this procedure done. The doctor goes over what you should and should not use on your skin before and after and It's cheaper with a facial included.
