Did not pay my doctors bills

My insurance company has been delaying payments on all my bills for over six months. Yesterday they sent me a letter saying that they have been reviewing a claim for hyperlipidemia. I had never heard the term before so i looked it up.in essence they aren't paying my bills because I apparently have high colesterol. Or something and that it was a preexisting condition. Another way of saying it is that
they won't pay my doctors bills because I'm fat and I was fat before I got my policy. Isn't that discrimanation?

They knew my stats before I got the policy I don't get it.
