AcaiXM And RegimexXM TOTAL SCAM! Avoid the fine print trap

The "trial offer" is a total scam! The gloomy details are buried deep within their terms of agreement as I found out too late. My credit card company actually flagged this as a 'questionable transaction' based on the company name alone and notified me of before I even got my bill.

The trial shipment arrived with a useless invoice that doesn't reference my credit card number or the 'trial period' a.K.A. Dead line to cancel future shipments. Before I knew it the next shipment arrived at FULL price-$84.95! Now forget any illusion of 'customer service' and 'satisfaction guaranteed' as stated on the web site. Turns out the phone number is bogus. I made dozens of calls, got an automated answering message, was put on hold for 20 minutes EVERY time and no one ever answered the line. Because phone contact is the only option to cancel I am basically trapped in an endless stream of deliveries/charges that I don't want and can't stop. According to their 'terms' if you refuse the charges by filing a complaint with your credit card company they will report you to the credit bureau which will tarnish your credit... How's that for guaranteed satisfaction! The fact that they have the nerve to put that in writing speaks for itself!

Long story short... I have sent a registered letter to the company pronouncing my cancellation effective immediately. I have notified my credit card company and I am proceeding with a formal dispute. They were very supportive and assured me I have 60 days to refute the charges and present my case WITHOUT negatively impacting my impeccable credit. It could take a few weeks but I will post the resolution. I hope this helps someone avoid the same aggravation!
