TeethWhitening.com Small International Fees Continue To Be Charged

Health & Medicine

After stupidly reading a Google ad from "Brendaswhiteteeth.com" who claimed she discovered an accidental teeth whitening process using two different products, one after the other, I am being charged continual small "International Fees" from one of the companies - who claim they cannot "see" the charges in their records. These charges are listed on my bank statement as "International Fee - Teeth Whitening".

Here's what happened - I read the ad during a dumb weak moment - and thought this sounded really cool and believable. The ad stated that if you used the "Celebrity Smile" product followed by "Teeth Whitening.com" product, you will whiten your teeth 7 shades or so. And, there were free trials available for both of these products - only pay shipping. So, I ordered them using my bank/Visa card.

I received the Celebrity Smile in a couple of days - Googled it and found that many people are getting charged on their credit cards if they do not "cancel their account" within 30 days. So, I cancelled my account.

About 3 weeks later, I received the other product (that I ordered under the company name of "TeethWhitening.com") under the business name of "Advanced Wellness Research". I happened to have gotten my bank statement the same day and saw the anticipated freight charge of $6.99 - plus an unexpected "International Fee" of $. 50. I went on-line, checked my bank account and saw that, that day, there was a charge of $69.99 put on my account by Advanced Wellness Research. I called their toll free # and, after being treated like a dunce (which I was for ordering this trial), they agreed to credit my account the $69.99. I didn't mention the $. 50 because I thought it was no big deal.

Today (1 business day later), I checked my bank account on line and there is another International Fee from this company of $2.10. Small amount but big concern that these charges will continue. After calling the toll free # and reaching "Stephen" (with an almost non-understandable Indian accent), I was told that their records do not show the small International Fee charges and there is nothing they can do.

I also called my bank and was told that there is not much they can do - to watch my account and if the charges continue, they will start an investigation.

I have been, and will continue, to report this company anywhere possible so everyone knows — Do Not Order From This Company - and beware of Brendaswhiteteeth.com (I looked at her ad today and there are two totally different companies listed as her accidental discovery).
