La mer's the eye concentrate burned my eyelids & caused my eyes to swell shut!

I ordered The Eye Concentrate form La Mer online, order # 360980576.

The first time I used The Eye Concentrate, I notice redness and a swelling under my left eye, two days after using The Eye Concentrate. So, I stopped using The Eye Concentrate until the redness and swelling went away.

Today is the first time that I have used The Eye concentrate two-nights in a row. I woke up this morning with BOTH EYELIDS, RED and SWOLLEN. Both of my eyelids are swollen so badly that it hurts to open my eyes. The skin above and below my eye is red and inflamed. I am staying home all day today because of the pain and because I cannot go out in public with my eyes swollen and burned.

The Eye Concentrate burned the skin around my eyes and caused my eyes to swell so badly that it is painful to keep my eyes open.

Disappointed and dissatisfied does not even begin to describe the way that I feel about The Eye Concentrate.

When I called La Mer corporate, I was told that I could not receive a refund for two weeks, and that I must first return the unused product. I told La Mer corporate that I would gladly return their damaging product, but that they should go ahead and issue my refund today. La Mer corporate refused, and to add insult to injury, insisted that there is noting wrong with their product and that the cause of the BURNING AND SWELLING of my eyelids must be an allergy my part.

La Mer insisted that this reaction has never happened to any of their other clients. I find that very difficult to believe, especially because La Mer corporate had a procedure for dealing with my negative reaction to their product, and asked me scripted questions, like whether or not I intended to see a physician. Clearly, I am not the first La Mer client who has experienced BURNING AND SWELLING of my eyelids, after using The Eye Concentrate.
