Spring Hill Florida Dentist Rip off

My husband and I went to this dentist Feb 19. We printed out our insurance forms and specifically pointed out the service we wanted, which was cleaning only. All the services we pointed out were free according to our insurance plan.

We got in the chair, someone looked at our teeth and then brought in a paper with all the work to be done. The grand total of this was $7500.

When we started to leave we were told a charge of $69 each was due. We were NOT told there would be a fee of any kind - referring back to our insurance paperwork. They should have told us UPfront our insurance did not cover a specific type of xray Florida requires. We would have left immediately and not seen anyone if we had been told. What a rip off of honest people. We did not have $140 dollars to just hand someone for basically nothing but an xray we couldnt even get a copy of! I want a refund from this rip off artist.
