Dentists hire DBA Minnesota debt collectors to violate law. Uses ploy to deceive patients as to true identity

Identity Alert for Louisa County Virginia dental patients. Your personal dental/medical records have been faxed by the owners of Louisa Comprehensive Dental, to debt collectors using fictitious names, 1200 miles away in Minnesota. The HIPAA rules were used as a ploy to deceive patients into assuming that it was a local collection, Credit Adjust Board, 306 E. Grace St., Richmond, VA that was harassing them. A reasonable assumption since Credit Adjustment Board is named in the standard operating procedures published on the internet, Credit Adjustment Board is named on the Patient Policy form which patients are required to sign, and Credit Adjustment Board was named as the collection agency in a letter mailed to patients immediately before their records were faxed to Minnesota.

In the latter part of E. Alexander White, Bradford R. Thweatt, and Michael Kurt Williams, owners of Sandston Comprehensive Dental in Sandston, purchased the dental practice of Lloyd & Meyers 65 miles away in Louisa and named it Louisa Comprehensive Dental. The VSCC lists Dr. Williams as the principal officer of Louisa Comprehensive Dental and 12616 Eagle Ridge Road, Richmond, VA (Williams Home) as the principal office address.

I, and other patients of Lloyd and Meyers, began receiving annoying from dba Gregg Farrell, Tim Simon, and Mr. Matthew. Such calls were prerecorded and offered no means to talk to the caller. When I called Gregg Farrell back he asked for my bank account number. I said no, send me something in writing. He refused and the daily harassing calls continued. However, he did reveal that his clients were White & Thweatt and that I owed $22.50 plus his fee of $7.43.

Well, that did it! Would three honest men work a month for $7.43? They must be selling our identities! I immediately canceled my prior arranged dental appointment pertaining to about $4,000. Bridge work and retained another dentist.in a futile effort to retain my business, White and Thweatt paid the $7.43 contract fee to dba Farrell. When I insisted on knowing exactly where my records were, Ms. Dawn Walton billing coordinator for White & Thweatt. Wrote that "a high volume of accounts were faxed to Steve at CLX systems in Medina, Minnosota.

CLX Systems/Westwood Management, alias CLX Systems, is a domestic corporation, not in Medina, MN, but with the registered address of 6032 Woodhill LN., Rockford, MN. This is the address of Kimberly Anne Patzner, debt collector lic. #20279757, and Steven G. Patzner, owner of the corp.

Steven Gregg Farrell, aka Gregg Farrell is actually Steven G. Patzner MN collector lic. #20044772,

Tim Simon, aka Chase Arnold is actually Brett Stephen Ruffenach, MN collector lic. #20606820, address 5121 Starling Dr., Monticello, MN

Mr. Matthew is Matthew Heitkamp, MN collector lic. #3001524, address 6650 Vernon Ave., #207, Edna, MN

Patzner, Ruffenach, and Heitkamp do not have the required Certificate of Assumed Name to operate in VA. Louisa County, Virginia residents should download this information and keep a close eye on their credit score for the next several years.
