First Administrators Aka Wellmark, Blue Cross & Blue Shield Harassment not paying claims slow processing

Harrassing me about paying for a visit to the doctor. Refusing to pay bill for health services for myself, (the covered employee), because I didn't give them an address of a local (Des Moines) Doctor, and local (Des Moines) hospital! Their own office processes this claim is in their Des Moines office! They do have phone books don't they? Maybe not! Maybe they've never processed claims for this particular hospital or doctor before!?

Very rude and unfriendly on the telephone. Told me if I submitted a certificate of creditable coverage, or authorized release of medical information to them I wouldn't even have to do the above! I did both anyway, plus I signing the authorization to release medical information to them!

I've sent in the third mailing for the same information today, and I know I better send it certified so they can't say they didn't recieve it. Of course they don't provide SASE like any other business would.

Their website's mission statement says:
" To administer self-funded employer health plans in a friendly, caring, cost-effective and efficient manner in order to help clients provide their employees and dependents with peace of mind and to assist them in improving their health."

I'm asking that they follow up on their mission.
