Boris Ackerman Plastic Surgeon
Very Bad Surgeon, Crude Personality, bad physician

I had some surgery by Dr. Ackerman in Orange County and he did an terrible job. He caused lumps and bumps and patches that caused uneven skin and ruined my thighs forever. He also left cuts where he used the equipment. I also had a partial lift and his scars left are crooked and they moved and are unsightly. I went to him because of all the publicity he drew to himself.

He knew I was not cool with the results because it is not what he said it would be. He never said anything could turn out the wrong way because he said he is the best in and out of the country. He flooded me with media hype and pictures and information from magazines and I received calls at my home to make up my mind to use this Doctor. His prices are high and I wish I went to some others I have seen the results of.

They are so much better. I asked him about why my surgery turned out the way it did and that I didnt like it, and he was short with me saying to give it some time. That went on so long that the statue had tolled to file a case for the very bad results. Do not let the publicity a doctor gets or purchses be a deciding factor of your choice. Anyone may buy any publicity.

He was never nice or considerate. Especially after the surgery. I figured I wanted his talent instead of the nicest guy. It turns out that he was neither. He is real good at not taking calls and putting anyone that is not serving his great prurpose of praising him to the can. He did not care about my concerns at all. Not even a little.

The time alllowed to file cases needs extended in California for the reasons I had to wait following his instructions knowing what he was doing. I should have done more instead of just crying. I live hiding myself now because of Dr. Ackerman, and will take a more proactive approach in getting the word and pictures out.

He can use his PR to hide the ugly side of his work, but he cant stop anyone from putting their own website and links to inform the public in their best interests. The mere attempts shout guilty loudly. I dont believe it is too late to make complaints to the board of surgeons, and some other ones recommended to me.

Getting the truth out there is very important so that you dont cause yourself permanent harm by your decision to fall for all this self idolization of a Doctor like this. The good ones do not participate in that. They dont need to because they are so good, they are concentrating on their work and not getting pr every day.

He misrepresents things alot in his life in and out of his practice as accused publicly. He does hide all that he can. I didnt find out things until after my surgery. If you are another harmed person, do something about it and make yourself heard loud and dont give up. I was so upset that I didnt do myself any favors being intimidated by this non talented surgeon.
