Unfair billing and no negotiations

Like a person without any insurance because of full-time education and reduced job oppertunities in the marketplace I had been compelled to enter the IM in November. I had been identified as having pneumonia but under-went several substantial proceedures to confirm pneumonia. A healthcare facility was completely conscious I had been uninsured but charged me towards the fullest extent. Not able to purchase the $9000 bill and reluctant to negotiate I'm put in selections where UMC NEVERTHELESS will not discuss. This is the way you handle tax-paying Americans? I'm ashamed, with debt and only extremly dissapointed.
