Took 150.00 cash / will not give insurance company proper code needed to file claim

And, although the director stated they don't file directly with insurance companies, we can file it ourselves. AND, even if my insurance company won't pay 100%, they will most certainly pay 80%.

They could give me ALL THE NECESSARY RECEIPTS to file the claim myself.

But when my insurance company said they needed the proper 10 digit code to file, guess what??? The ADD Health and Wellness Center would not cooperate. They just blew me off - - after all, they got the 150.00 cash out of me.

They suck you in with the "free consultation" and they tell you "hey - come get a 35 minute colsultation with one of our top notch psychiatrists." They pull out this neat little book, with all the different things they have to offer. What they don't tell you is THEY DO NOT cooperate with you when you try to file your claim. They say they will, but THEY DON'T.

I needed a diagnosis for work, I paid 150.00, and they said that was a therapy visit. They said "We cannot give you a diagnosis code after seeing you one visit - we could be sued" If you didn't want to diagnose me with anything, why did you take my 150.00? That was for THERAPY? Okay, let's say it was for therapy.

How come you won't communicate with my insurance company about giving them the proper code to file???

Because you don't care about your patients, you get your upfront money, and then leave us high and dry to wonder what truck we just got hit by.

I have no diagnosis, no correct code to file my claim, (my insurance is still waiting on the ten digit code you promised me I could file my own claim with)
and most of all, I have seen first hand how crooked clinics can rip off innocent customers - thanks for the 150.00 lesson.
