Unauthorized charges on my credit card

I went online to the Bender Ball website to purchase the $9.99 ball. There were areas were you could pay more for a kit but I chose to do only the $10 ball. After I received the ball I started getting more packages and my credit card was being charged. When I called customer service the man on the phone said that when purchasing the product the website signs you up for an automatic membership where you continue to receive more products. It is up to the customer to cancel the membership, if they even know about it. Of course I was unaware and it was too late to return the merchandise I did not want.

I found the whole situation hard to believe and extremely shady. I see how they can offer such an inexpensive product because they will turn around and squeeze a buck out of you. I am always ordering things online and every company that I have had a problem with has happily fixed it. This is NOT one of these companies. Even when I suggested to return the unopen products for some of my money back, I pretty much got a "too bad" answer.

I would just suggest not ordering this product, but if you choose to do so, immediatly call customer service to cancel the membership or you will be charged for products you do not want.
