At the end of December I had signed a contract to purchase a property. That evening the person who was going to purchase my property told me that he is not going to buy it after all. So that evening I contacted Dr. Zammit the noterer, and explained to him my situation. He told me that he couldn't stop the contract and had to register the property anyway.

(I contacted a lawyer who told me that he didn't actually have to register since I did inform him within 24hrs that I could not go through with the purchasing of the property).

Yet Dr. Zammit insisted it had to be done. Anyway I was taxxed around LM130, Dr. Zammit told me that the tax I payed will be refunded within 3 months. It has been 11 months (NO REFUND). When we call the department that handles these returns we are told that the tax was never paid therefore it cannot be refunded.

I have called Dr. Zammit sevral times trying to get to the bottom of this and eventually to try to get my money back, and when I do reach him he tells me that he is going to check on and to call him back the next day. I have wasted about LM30 in phone calls with him.

I have called him again today and again he told me to call him back tomorrow which I will and again he will find some excuse and tell me to call again. So after almost a year I am guessing I probably won't get my money back!!!

So I would like to send out a WARNING to everyone out there to be carefull and not to deal with this man as he is a coniving con artist and a thief. I am not qualified like him in law and so he knows all the escape routes. And I am stuck with the bill. So be warned!!! Do not use dr. JONTHAN ZAMMIT, for your property negotiations as you will be sorry.
