Dr Marianna Weiner / Envy Smile Dental Over 3 years of treatment by Dr Weiner brought little result, created a lot of problems

Several problems.

I'll start with scheduling, which will give better understanding of how Doctor Weiner works in general.

Over-scheduling in Dr Weiner's office is beyond ridiculous. A visit for 10-minute procedure will take you in average 2 hours. They'll keep you in the waiting room for 45 minutes, then you can easily spend another hour in the dental chair just staring at the ceiling. The doctors then storms in, freely discussing personal matters or office furnishings, easily distracted by phone calls. She gives you few seconds of time, and quickly departs, leaving all the work to assistants.in my presence, the receptionist scheduled me and another patient for the same time with the same doctor. When I questioned that, it was explained to me that they have enough chairs for everyone!

I got an estimation from a couple of other dentists that it would take two years at most to re-shape my
teeth, and decided to go with Dr Weiner (little did I know then). To make long story short, 6 months was wasted on wearing plastic "orthodontic appliance" which was supposed to fix the shape of my jaw. You can't speak or eat with it, contrary to what she says. That turned out to be completely useless torture. Two months I was wearing plastic brackets glued to my teeth without any braces, just so that they could save some them time during next appointment. Two years later some progress has been made and just when I paid off the contract amount, she signed me off to another dentist who started to do his own thing differently at his own pace. He was in the office on very sparse schedule, which slowed down the treatment even further.

At some point, the tooth which was carrying a metal band started to hurt badly. When I came to Dr Weiner's office with that, she said it's because I didn't floss it and just cleaned the gums around it. When it started to hurt again after a couple of weeks and I got second opinion, they found a massive hole, which she just didn't notice first time. That resulted in dead tooth, root canal job, a crown, and $1500 bill.

More than three years after seeing very few results and huge amounts of money paid, I've just had it.

Work ethic? Forget it, buddy.
