Costa is a drug peddling scam artist! He is also a two faced liar

If anyone has taken this guy as a therapist, or has thought about taking this guy—stay away! He is a fraud and a con artist. People who are healthy mental-wise but might be suffering from a dry spell could very well be diagnosed with some mental disorder this 'therapist' cooked up. He tried to diagnose me ADHD because he said that students who are artistic generally suffer from ADHD and when I asked him for scientific studies to back up his claim he proceeded to get angry at me. He would get belligerent at me and say I was questioning his qualifications. Of course I am. I have only met this guy for two sessions and he seems intent on forcing a diagnosis upon me whether I like it or not.

He pretends to be on your side of the fence and, in fact, he's just doing this so he can prey upon emotionally distraught patients. He pretends that he doesn't recall saying something two weeks ago when, in fact, he knew exactly what he said. He bilks your health insurance. He'll do double-billing. He will bill for a session, for example, from January 12 and then he will bill again for that same session two months later. Whenever I would e-mail him about some of his questionable practices he would say he doesn't recall or would say he is going on Summer vacation when it is already August 25th and the Summer is almost over. He gets defensive when you ask him simple questions like whether he gets paid money from the manufacturers of Ritalin and that is the reason why he is so intent on diagnosing people with ADHD so they can go on drugs. He will try to avoid culpability by saying he is not qualified to write prescription drugs and that it is the doctor who will write it and he just makes recommendations. He was forced to admit that many doctors don't take his recommendations seriously and just throw away what he recommends about his clients perceived illness (in his own mind, of course). He is a simple Sigmund Fraud.
