Crowed a tooth that did not need work and left a broken tooth behind that I asked to have repaired Bradenton

I injured a tooth in a sporting accident. It was fractured and broken. I went to Livy Stoyka and asked that it be repaired; i. E: crowned. She examined, Xrayed and scheduled time to do the crown after having not shown up for our first appointment without so much as a courtesy call.

She widdled away a tooth that did not require any work at all. This particular tooth was a much more difficult tooth to work on making it much more difficult for the very pregnant patient to endure.

She completed the work a month later. Not long after, the temporary came away from the broken tooth. I realized she had not perfomed the work she was hired to perform. I called. She examined and offered a full price quote to do another crown, but quoted the wrong tooth again! In addition, she did not offer an explanation for having performed work on the wrong tooth and charged me for the visit to look at what she had done wrong.

Not satisifed with the outcome, I called her to discuss further. She swore at me, yelled at me and then hung up on me. Again, never providing an explanation for what she had done.

Dr. Stoyka is unethical, unprofessional and hot headed.

If Dr. Stoyka has hurt you, I urge you to file a report with the Department of Health. They are the people who can do an investigation and possibly affect her license. The application process is tedious, but you could be doing others a huge favor saving them pain, time and money. I also encourage you to check with the ADA and Better Business Bureau. You can file a complaint with the ADA if you have been wronged. They will investigate. Both of those entities have record of several greivances against this dentist.
