Planet Tan, Jesse NO refunds, No exchanges, No TRUTH, and NO DISCLOSURE up front. Result? No Integrity. Planet Tan? Planet SCAM!

Jesse, the crater faced girl at Planet Tan, is a liar and a scam artist. Very sad that she bold faced lies to good customers with no regard for integrity. Having just purchased almost 200 dollars worth of tanning package plus accessories, I was told at time of purchase how flexible and easy to work with they were by a more reputable employee. Everyone else there was very nice, but the girl named Jesse, sullied the experience completely with her ignorance and lack of integrity.

On my third visit, I wanted to purchase a product they were out of so she offered a sample of something different for me to try. I asked to purchase eye covers and handed my credit card. The sample she was insisting I try until the product I wanted came in was put on the charge and a tiny package not even one ounce was $7.50. As soon as I was handed the receipt thinking it was just for the eye covers, I was overcharged for a sample I did NOT ask to purchase. I asked for the transaction to be voided that she had made a mistake. The machine was still running my card and she says, NO REFUND. I did not take the product and asked again for her to void that tiny transaction and she said she had NO WAY to void or cancel a transaction in progress. She asked me to allow her to call corporate and get me refunded for the product I did not want nor did I receive it. Taking her for her word over something so minor seemed reliable at the time.

Then my next visit in, I asked her how she was coiming with my refund for the product I didnt want nor receive and she said, "We do not do refunds or exchanges and I am not refunding you. You can call my manager." This set her in a tissy and then upset me a little bit due to the shock that such a simple issue was turned into such a disreputable act damaging what could have otherwise been an opportunity to do something right, like keep your word, to a new customer such as myslef that now has a very bad opinion of Planet Tan due to the horrific person that knowingly takes clients' money disregarding any integrity whatsoever. Disgraceful. I am in shock.

The flaw with Planet Tan itself is no disclosure. No mention is made at any time by any employee there are no refunds, no exchanges, no exception even if product is not received. The statement is only written on bottom of receipt post transaction and if the employee makes a mistake at purchse point, which is what happened in my case, then it is the consumer who suffers.

I did not get the product. I was yelled at and bashed by the hideous woman, and irritated immensely, still in shock, that something so simple became such an indicator that Planet Tan itself may be a business worth denying.

What a HORRIFIC way to treat a client! Planet Tan? Perhaps PLANET SCAM is more appropriate?!?
