Could have caused death

In November my daughter began seeing Dr. Bartley for cervical problems. He performed several evasive tests including Leep, without first taking a pregnancy test to confirm that it was okay to procede. She kept calling about the bloating but they insisted that it would go away soon.instead, she kept getting bigger as time went by.in December, she took two pregnancy tests and both came back positive. She had been on Yaz for three years without any problems, unfortunately they did not keep her from getting pregnant this time.in late Jan. She went back to the doctor and had an ultrasound.

All was well until March 4th when she was rushed to the hospital with severe bleeding. He insisted that she stay in the hospital on complete bed rest of which she did. The bleeding didn't stop and the contractions began getting worse. On March 9, my daughter suggested that she wanted to be moved to another hospital with a level three NICU.instead of agreeing with her decision he told her how she had never seen a baby die of a brain bleed or hemorrhage. He has absolutely no bedside manner. She became increasingly scared, hysterical, and devastated. He couldn't understand why she would want to be transfered. However, she was transported to PSL Medical Center on March 10th.

The morning of March 11, she gave birth by emergency C-section. The baby weighed less than 2 pounds. He has been in an isolete for a month but getting stronger every day. My daughter was told that if she had not been transfered, she and the baby would not have survived.
