HoodiaPhen
Deceptive Advertising - Charged $69.95 for WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A FREE SAMPLE

Health & Medicine

Hoodiaphen advertise a free sample of its diet product, the customer only pays shipping @ $4.95. Little known to the customer that they are signing up for a "plan" at which Hoodiaphen will continue to send the product on a monthly basis and charge the customer's credit card $149.00 for a four month supply without permission.

I was charged $69.95 and was only made aware of it when I checked my credit card statement. Hoodiphen only mentions this tidbit in very tiny letters on their website. Hoodiaphen says nothing of continuing the plan at whatever rate they say or canceling the "plan" when they send you the "free" sample.

On Hoodiaphen's website there is a link to cancel the plan - guess what - the link doesn't work. If you have a complaint or try to get a refund they direct you to a web site where you are supposed to open a ticket.

This company / individual is obviously running scam and knows it.By the number of complaints I found on the web, this person doesn't care.
