Forcing Credit Card Charges

Be careful when you sign up at this location. My wife and I signed up and were eager to join a club. We didnt have the full amount of $1,100 avail on our credit card so they said that we could pay $60 that day to get us started then pay the rest in a few weeks. We told him that we would not get paid until the end of the month and he pressed the issue to get us signed up with a full payment date a week out reassuring us that he could change it if needed. The general manager Jarvis was the one that signed us up and made it sound like changing the second charge date was no problem. The next day after thinking about it we decided that we needed more time. He said he would make the necessary changes and call us. Neither happened. Our card was charged, we were charged an overdraft fee, and Jarvis never called. We confronted him for 3 days straight and he would never apologize, just say that he sent like 6 emails to billing. He said he didn't call because he was waiting for good news, even though he told us the previous day he would call whether he found anything or not.

DO NOT call their cust service line, it is a total joke. I called and my info was sent to a supervisor Chris Mulvenna and I was told that he would call me within 48 hrs of my call. I never got a call. I called back and they said they could forward my call to a supervisor right away... It went to voicemail.

I called Michelle at the Irvine HQ 714-505-8958 and my case was sent to a VP about 2 weeks ago but as of yet no response.

Just be very careful when they say they will bill you one day then make no offer to change it or call you to at least apologize.

If you have similar issues file with the Better Business Bureau, they have other complaints filed and if you send one you will hopefully get a better response than we did.
