I posted my first ratings on Mehrdod Parsa in February of this year, than I filed a complaint on him to the GA Board of Dentistry. I'm so disappointed by the findings of the GA board of Dentistry that the Board determined there was no violations of the Dental Practice Act and has voted to close my case. The Board did not receive evidence to support disciplinary action against Dr Parsa. I waited for more than 11 months for that decision.

Dr Parsa didn't give me my own dental records, he refused to give me my digital x rays, the 100 digital (before and after) photographs he took of me. He refused to give me my dental mold before he altered my natural bite, and he stone walled me every step of the way. It is the law in GA for any dentist to keep the patients records for 10 years. Dr Parsa's office told me my original dental mold had broken. Not true! (office manager is Parsa's sister)

I thought I did the right thing to file a complaint against Dr Parsa. Parsa has caused me utter, constant, unrelenting pain, and he has caused me financial distress by having to redo all dental work and pay thousands more I already paid him. I was truly desperate I could not imagine life with such intense horrible pain day after day, and I had no other choice but to go through the whole procedure again. I took it seriously that the GA Board of Dentistry would take my complaint seriously and help me, but obviously they didn't. It is a shame that I had to wait for more than 11 months to get that decision and waist all my the time.

After getting my response from the GA Board of Dentistry my husband and I went into his office to talk to Parsa. Parsa called the police on us. I have been a law abiding citizen all my life, but was treated like a criminal because I showed up in Parsa's office and asked Parsa to give me my records that was rightfully my. Ask yourself is this a way to treat a patient? Is this the way you want to be treated? Further more ask what is he hiding? Why did he refuse to give me my records, why has he refused to return our phone calls even before I filed a complaint on him?
