A physcians assistant leads the Dr

In August I found my Dr. Retireing. I am a chronic Pain Patient with 26 Surgeries, 10 back in last 4 years. I saw on the internet an ad for Tampa Pain Clinic. It seemed to have everything, therapy, trigger points, cortisone shots and supposedly Extremely good Pain management Dr.'s.

I had been 2 weeks out of surgery and had a back brace, walker, and cane to walk along with a driver. I went in and they were thourogh. I was taking at time 300Mcg's of Duragesic, 6-8 roxicodone 30mg,! 50 1200Mcg Actiq along with Klonopin 2mg 3 times a day.

After a long exam we went to discuss my meds but I had to urinate before. I did and went to room of Dr. Where he and Physcians Assistant were sitting. At this point they said the conversion was 1 80mg Oxycontin 3 times a day, 100 Lortabs a month and MSIR. This was told by assistant and Dr. Agreed. Later I found out that the dose was not even 1/10 of one I had been on for 5 years. I was asked to wait in room while he got scripts. To my surprise 5 Deputies came in saying my brace was fake, I was in no pain (They had all records of surgeries and meds), If I did not leave I would be arrested was said next.

What happened was Dr., even though I was wearing 3 100 Mcg patches said to police that no meds showed up in sytem. Even though I was prescriped Marinol for extreme nasaua he said I had pot in my system too. (I had all Bottles). So after being there for 2 hours, humiliated, in pain, Police almost took my remaining pain meds too, I drove away or my driver did. Dr. Also would not give me back records or refund my money. He kept trying to get money from my insurance and I told them he was a scam. Dr and assisatant also came out before I left to announce loudly behind desk that I was being kicked out for seeking drugs.

I have never been short on my meds, took more than supposed too, always had Dr's for 5-14 years, decreased my pain meds even Dr. Said I would be sorry. Have only got any kind of pain med that I had to have to walk. After this incident, 1 month later, I had a lasectomy that did not go well and had to have 3 cervical spinal fusions in 2 months followed by continuous surgery until August 19.

What was Dr. Doing? Only thing I could think is that he is a G.P. And never took pain med classes so seeing that my meds were high dose, without knowing I had been and had to take that amount for 7 years even with previous Dr. Notes. Maybe he was being investigated and needed a sucker. High pain meds, THC showed Perfect for him. The thing he forgot was the 3 patches that were applied delivering Fentynal at 10mg's an hour were on me as were all records.

Finally I left, Police also asked about med on me and not showing. Dr. Said that Fentynal does not show Up! If I was not in shape I am in I would expose this wannabe Dr. Who could not make it as a G.P. Also the assistant wrote scripts for C-2 scripts and signed them.

I think it is late. After getting bills for months, I had my lawyer call and told what we were asking for in court and I have not seen or heard that this Dr. Is still practicing after that call. Also he tells you to go to only 1 pharmacy, down the road. Little scam?
