No return for defective product 30 days after purchase

I bought this treadmill about 2 months ago and used about 10 times. I already have a problem that the machine stopped working twice all of a sudden in the middle of running and the control panel went out. I bought it on-line for $1,499 and I intended to use it for my lifetime. But having a problem after 10 times usage made me decide that I'm not going to keep it.

I didn't want to take a risk to have more problems down the road and end up paying service fee after 1 year. So I called the company and asked them for return. They said they won't accept any return after 30 days of purchase even if the treadmill is defective. They said they would try to fix it because it is under warranty. They said the only chance they take the machine back is if the machine is not fixable at all.

Who wants to pay $1,499 and have the treadmill fixed after 10 times usage? If a TV company refuses any return of a defective TV within 2 months from purchase, they will be out of market.

If you want to buy a Smooth treadmill, never trust their reputation because their product is not perfect and you are not going to be able to return after 30 days even if it is defective. Also, their customer service horrible.
