Ripped Off Hoodia Sent Card Charged No Request No Permission Given Not Ordered Thieves

Late last summer I ordered a sample of a drug called Lipoplex with Hoodia for something like $5.95 for a month's supply. I read every word of the message sent to me. As I am always trying to lose weight, I decided to try this product for only $5.95.

I tried the stuff, it didn't work, end of story... Or so I thought. The following month I received another package of the useless pills and then saw a $99.95 charge on my bank statement. I thought, "Okay, you ordered the stuff to begin with so this is your charge for being stupid." I was going to check further to see if I had inadvertently given this company the go ahead to send me more. I was pretty sure I hadn't, but I do make mistakes.

Then I decided to retire from my job and as I did it rather quickly, I downloaded all URLs of companies I had done business with onto a disc to bring home from my offce and I still haven't looked at it.

Then I got another package of the stuff and another charge of $99.95. I was upset but apparently not enough to find the company's name on my downloaded disc. I thought that surely it was the last time.

Last Thursday I saw another charge for $99.95 and by then I was really angry. As there was no email address on the envelope this junk came in, I got online and put the company name in the search engine and found them— and this website. I found a phone number for these people in Las Vegas and called them immediately. I spoke to a consumer representative named Randi and told her to stop sending this junk to me and to stop charging my bank card. As I hadn't received the package for that charge yet, I told her I was going to return it as REFUSED and she said I could return it but they would not refund my money!!! That really ticked me off. I told her again to take my name off their mailing list and quit sending me this junk. She said they would. They'd better!

In the interim, I have informed my bank so that they will no longer let these people charge my bank card.

This is indeed a rip-off and as I thought I was smarter than this, I am embarrassed!
