National Health Net scams single mom

I have also been scammed by this company. The man that called me had a very thick middle eastern accent claiming i had been approved for a 3000.00 government grant and he just needed me to verify my information. I wasn't all that comfortable talking to this man but when i told him that he started spewing my information at me, name address bank routing number and acct number. I figured if he had this information he was probably legit so i fell for it hook line and sinker. He advised me that someone from the verification department would contact me in 1 hour, so i waited and no phone call. I immediatly contacted my bank and they said they can hold my acct for 48hrs I agreed and never heard anything else about it.

A week went by and i recieved a phone call from the "verification department" apologizing for taking so long and that i needed to use their automated system for the transfer of the funds, i asked for a name and number in case of disconnection and the number they gave me was 801-471-0799. They advised me there would be a processing fee coming directly out of the 3000.00 before it was transferred. I asked at least 3 times if anything would be taken directly out of my account they assured me no. Also they told me if i disagree with any of the messages to say okay instead of no, again i knew this was too good to be true but i am a struggling single mother thinking any little bit can help. After the message played the gave me a confirmation # and told me the funds would be available in 48hrs. This morning i called my bank knowing that the money wouldnt be in there but checking my balance. Well surprise 29.95 is missing from my account from this company national health net online. I called the number my bank had on file 18664071029 and they said that i applied for their services on the phone and agreed to the funds being removed i advised them this is untrue and they said when i get my welcome letter to call and cancel my plan. The man i spoke to danny cubautar was rude and refused to let me speak to a manager i demanded to be removed from any list they had he said no, i requested the company name they recieved my information from he said he couldnt release that information. I guess i am s.O.L.
After all is done i missed a day of work having to go to the bank and close my acct. Also went to the police who basically took a report but said nothing can be done.
Something has to be done to stop this from happening to other people, hopefully they will not be able to take anymore funds from me. I just wish there was more i could do.
