Made one purchase and cancelled they continued to charge my card on a monthly basis

My wife made a one time purchase and then was not satisfied and cancelled the agreement, but the company continued to charge my account on the 15th of each month for 20.95. I had to call my bank to find out what the heck was going on and put a stop to it. I also requested a refund of which none have shown in my account to date.
