Charges for services not completed, and are not as friendly as they claim ripoff

I visted the Naperville Rosewood Dental in Jan. I needed to have a tooth pulled, the dentist pulled my tooth, and they said that i needed to get a bridge put in, otherwise the two surrounding teeth will decay. So trusting them, i say oh, ok.

They said i would have to come back for impressions, so they would be putting in a temp. The assitant was left in the room with me where she began putting this in, and the dentist walked by and says "dont put the temp in till i check the structures (stitches) to make sure they are secure". Too late! But she didnt even bother to tell him, she tried to take it out herself, he comes back to see her do this, and you can tell he is angry with her. He then has to restitch my gums, not once, but twice! So when i go back for my next visit, surprise surprise, my gums arent healing. So the dentist takes the bridge off in hopes that they will heal.

I once again need to come back so they can do this impression on my teeth to get my bridge. So when i do return, i have a root canal. They suggest that i get that taken care of. So i do.

In the meantime james their "financial consultant" says that i was approved for care credit and that my insurance should cover all but $1400. I say, but you are going to submit it to insurance first right? Cause i dont know what they cover, and i have a health account, so i have money being put aside for situations like this. He says, yes, and not to worry that i will get copies of everything (which i have yet to get)
in the meantime 2 months went by and i get a call from carecredit saying i am behind?! What? I am shocked, so i make a payment, this is my credit! I call rosewood to find out why nothing was sent to my insurance, and they claim that they only send it in when the work is complete. I said but you dont even know what i really owe, and you submit an amount to these people, when i asked you to make sure first with my insurance.

So now its been 5 months, a total of 7, that i have been fighting them with this. And now they want to charge me $2000 for a bridge that i dont have. James claims that it is there waiting for me, however seeing that there wasnt a final impression, and its been so long, how do you have something for my mouth when you know its not the same?!?!

He claims its for the temp bridge, in which he says i still have, and that its all in the file. There is a hole that i can stick my tongue through. My gums werent healing, and that is why i dont have one, but obviously they dont write everything down in them files.

I wouldnt suggest anyone to go to this location, i have continually called for the past 5 months, only to get "well i only take appointments, but i can take your name and number and someone will get back to you". Only once has that happened. All the other times i got lucky and james was working. Otherwise i was leaving my name and number, and nothing being returned.

Oh and might i add that james claims they did my root canal as a favor! So i dont owe for that, i said "gee thanks, i still have pain in that tooth". He claims its impossible, he obviously doesnt do any research, cause it is possible. They could have left some tissue in that tooth. (oh i know its that tooth cause its the very back tooth, and the one that was next to it was the one pulled) nice.
