Ripoff Sent me product after cancellation returned it unopened and now am charged $99.95 for nothing

Ordered sample product of "Lipoplex with Hoodia" for 6.95. Received it several days later in plain box with no literature. It gave me a bad headache. Called within one week by finding their number on the internet and cancelled any future shipment because I figured they would be sending more. They did not inform me that a shipment was on the way. At no time when ordering did I see anything regarding cancellation within 14 days of ORDERING, not receiving. One week later I received a shipment. I marked it 'return to sender membership cancelled', and did not even take it out of the mailbox. Now I have a $99.99 charge on my credit card. When I called to complain I was told "unfortunately you just sent back something that belonged to you", and now I was out that as well as the money! When signing up for this offer I looked for fine print and didn't find anything like they said I agreed to. What a scam. The receptionist read me some canned reply that she obviously had memorized. Can I be forced to pay for something that I never accepted? I'm just another sucker I guess...
