Ripoff dishonest billing unauthorized credit card charges fraudulent

I was referred to this surgeon for the fact that he was a Delta Dental Provider. And as a preferred provider there is a set amount for each procedure.

While in the 'chair' I asked Michael Schuman the cost of the procedure of removing the broken root of my tooth and he was resistant to quoting me a price. Three times I asked and finally on the fourth attempt he told me no more than $80.00.

I went ahead with the procedure and paid the $80.00 with my credit card. Three weeks later I get a notice in the mail that I was responsible for $250.00 dollars more for the procedure.

I called Michael Schuman and told him that we had agreed on $80.00, no more. He then proceeded to charge my credit card without my express authorization the $250.00 anyways, and refused to discuss the possibility of payments with me.

I attempted to reason with him but to no avail. It seems to me that this man is GREEDY and money hungry and does not care for his patients financial situation, as long as he is able to get as much money out of them and their insurance companies as is humanly possible.
