Ripoff Bad costumer service rude employees unfair store policy

I bought two bottles of Calcium supplement in Vitamin Museum store, located at 1369 Avenue of Americas, Manhattan, NY 10019. The price of one bottle is $24.99. Fifteen minutes later I called the store to tell them that I am planning to return the Calcium supplement and that I have a receipt. I explained that I saw the same bottle of Calcium supplement in Duane Reade that was $17.79 per bottle. I was told that the store policy states that the merchandise can only be returned for the store credit even with a valid receipt. However, as an exception, the salesperson promised to refund my money to my credit card.

When I went back to the Vitamin Museum, the salesperson offered to reimburse me the difference between the Duane Read price and the Vitamin Museum price. I declined and explained that I have already purchased the Calcium supplement from Duane Read and that I was already promised a full refund from the Vitamin Museum. The salesperson refused to refund me the money. He said that all that he can do, as a favor to me, is to either pay the difference or to give me the store credit. I declined the offer because I do not need four bottles of Calcium supplement and that I could not accept the store credit, because I am not planning to return to this store.

The salesperson of Vitamin Museum said that he does not want to continue this conversation anymore and that I will not receive the store credit or anything else. He told me to leave the store and that nobody in the store will speak to me any further. I tried to restate my position. The salesperson stepped out from the counter and walked towards me and started waving his hands in front of my face, while shouting that he does not want to talk to me. I felt threatened. I was scared that he will hit me. I was forced to leave the store.
