I just don't get it. You read this stuff all the time and think "it will never happen to me" But it has. It started out with a bogus charge from Dream Smile in November for $14.95. I honestly thought maybe someone at a Dentist office had typed in someone's card number wrong so I called my bank. My account was credited the amount but now I have two more charges or should I say three. The first was for $74.95 and a pending charge for 69.95 from LeanRX.net. I called my bank and they put a hold on the pending charge and filled out a report on the amount that was already taken out of my account. The bank cancelled my card and before I could get my new one there was another charge. Since they were not able to take the $69.95 from my account under LeanRX.net, due to the hold, they changed the name to XTREME BURN and took money from my account. This not only hurts and makes me mad because someone has stolen from me but because they have literally stolen from my sons because this is their money too. This company has taken more than the original 3 charges because they have caused problems with outstanding checks to my insurance company and other monthly bills. I am a single Mom and have very little money and barely make ends meet as it is... How can I put food on the table when someone steals money from our account? Do these people not have a heart?

I would love to know why they are doing this and what makes them think that it is ok to do what they are doing. I have never had anything like this happen before and am not sure of the steps to take. Do I call the police? Do I just trust that the bank will take care of it? How can these people be stopped?
