On Oct 29 my father took my grandmother into the ER complaining her stomach was hurting. The ER room was not busy at the time and still nobody went to check on my grandmother's vitals or anything else. A nurse came out put a wristband on her said she was next.By this time my grandmother was in serious pain. She was also very cold and they refused to see her or give her a blanket.

My father kept telling them she was in need of attention asap and was sick. They ignored him stating she was next to hold on. My father went to retrieve a jacket from the car for my grandma and upon his return she was dead! She had foam at the mouth and was not breathing.

A male nurse then came out after my father yelled at them she died you let her die in front of you. He checked for a pulse said she is gone and escorted them to a room as if to be seen by a doctor. They for unknown reason placed a tube in her throat left the room and never returned.

My father was there in the room with his deceased mother for about 2 hours before he left and nobody ever came in to speak with him. No doctor there would sign the death certificate. They had to do an autopsy and claimed heart failure as they do with all elderly people without any other explanation!

The hospital or ER staff should have done their job and checked on her vitals. Or if they would have just cared my grandmother could have easily lived for another 10 years. She was in good health. Her doctor at the same hospital couldn't be reached after this they said he was no longer there yet a week earlier she had seen him and was well.
