LIES AND CHEATS EMPLOYEES - current employee inside information MICHIGAN

I am a current employee of La Weight Loss in Michigan and want everyone to know DO NOT INTERVIEW/WORK for this company. Yes they are a scam when it comes to the business but an even bigger scam when it comes to employment. I Was hired and told I was a salaried employee and would have a base of $400 a week plus center commissions ay a max of a 45 hour work week.

Well after training and after recieving my first paycheck (which was short from what I was told) I recieved a $300 base and crapy commissions. Now figure I was supposed to work 50-55 hours EVERY week on that amount of money. When asking my supervisor about it she said I was misquoted in my pay and no manager makes more than $300 of a base. My assistant manager made more than me and worked less hours so I decided I did not want to be a manager anymore and stepped down to work normal hours for more money.

Then it came time to enroll in benefits which I really needed. Are you kidding... Benefits are cheaper for me to get them on my own then with this company and they are a 650 center chain??? Yea right. Now your probaly thinking why is she still working for this company... Well I am looking for other employment but until I find something I am stuck in this hell hole. I have watched so many people get hired assuming they will be making good money and have been told certain amounts that they never ever see and quit or try to fight for it but they never see it.

This company skirts around any issue of money when it comes to employee's. They will lie till they are blue in the face. Tell me this how can you dock a salaried employees pay??? According to the law you cannot dock a salary employee but La Weight Loss does. Even if you work 40 hours for the week but take a day off during the week they will dock your salary. They say that as a salaried employee you MUST work all five days during the week Monday-Friday to get your correct salary. If you work Saturday its pretty much a freebe day. Now if your clients are not happy with the program they can refund which I encourage but as a result the decrease your commission you get on everything. The program does work but all the extras and all the money people put into it is not necessary. Most people who work for them could care less about you, they just want your money. If you use product ask if you can if you have any medical conditions.

Counselors/Managers will sell you product you are ineligible for medically just to get your money and who cares about your health it could kill you! So in the end if you join ask lots and lots of questions and you DO NOT need to use any of their products and you will still loose. If you go for employment ask lots and lots of questions and get you pay arrangement in writing!!!
