Ripoff dishonest fraudulent cancellation amounts

I called the ABC financial to cancel my contract for All American Fitness on 9/20/06. I was canceling my contract by the buyout option and so the rep put me on hold for a long period of time before getting back on the phone to state that my amount to pay for the buyout option was $103.29. He told me that I would need fax information writing to state that I wanted to cancel with the buyout option which I faxed. He also me that I could go on and pay the $103.29 which I put on my credit card. So, he took my card information and I thought once I paid this $103.29 then my contract was completed then I went into my checking account on 9/27/06 and this ABC financial had deducted from my checking account an additional $154.74 which I didn't authorize.

So, I called to inquiry why this was taken out of my checking and they stated that was the remainder of my contract amount minus finance charges. I told them that I had called to cancel and I was quoted the $103.29 which I paid to get out of my contract. It is not my fault they didn't have someone to quote me the correct amount. I believe once I paid the $103.29 my contract was completed and I should not be responsible for someone not giving me the correct amount.
