On 7/10/06, I named my eye-doctor (ANASTATSIOS FOKAS, O.D. At 23-18 31ST STREET in Astoria, King, NY (718) 278-3600) to obtain my prescription info. I'm touring in another state. I had been requested for my prescription after I visited buy fresh connections. They never delivered my telephone call after I required it at Fokas workplace. They kept showing me the physician was active. 24 hours later I sent them, and I had no reaction, then finally I named again plus they DECLINED to provide my prescription info to me. They stated that I'd in the future directly into obtain the info, and that I told them it had been impossible since I'm touring in another state. Then the assistant having a really unprofessional perspective, stated I owed them cash since 11, so that they are likely to keep this information till I will come in. Again I advised her it had been difficult, I had been in another condition for just two weeks, and my contact ripped and that I cant view without them... Then she said it had been my problem. I requested her how is it feasible for me personally to owe income after I have insurance, she stated that the insurance doesn't protect a contact lense appropriate... I had been never informed of the, normally I wold haven't tried it on. Additional connections are tried on by this physician, created me. I told him I had been pleased with what I've, and since he doesn't bring the manufacturer I use, he created me try-on those he bears, after I had informed him, I'll not be buying connections from him since the cost was excessive, he explained "check it out on anyhow, observe how it suits"HE never explained about additional costs, personally I think he must alert his individuals of the before coaxing them into something similar to this. I feel I had been cheated. This really is dishonest methods, declining me and declining me my prescription that was currently taken care of by my insurance my documents.
