FS-HOODIA BURN FAT Lean Life PM ripoff fraudulent charges automatic billing

Much like the others who have reported being ripped off, I have now received 2 charges from the Lean Life company.

The first charge was on 8/25 from FS-HOODIA BURN FAT for $69.95. I entered a dispute online with my credit card and they (GM Card) refunded the money while they resolve it. I have to wait up to 90 days to hear back on this.

The second charge is showing as a pending charge from LEAN RX, with the phone number 1-800-296-2029, for $79.95. I called GM Card about this one and was told I cannot cancel my card to prevent it from hitting my account, and if I cancelled now, it would be much harder to dispute and then collect on the charge. I just have to wait and see if the charge is allowed on the account.

Lean Life PM, Lean RX and Hoodia Burn Fat are all the same company. I signed up for the 7 day sample back in January/February of this year, and promptly cancelled within that time period. I didn't get a confirmation number on the cancellation, but Lean Life did refund the first month's charge which pretty mich indicates I cancelled the service in the time allotted.

I've called the various numbers I've found for this company, which all lead to an automated system that either goes directly to voicemail (off-hours), or puts you on hold for a few minutes then goes to voicemail. I've left 3 voicemails so far, and I'm getting more angry with each one.

I can't believe a company can try to charge my account, without sending me anything for it, and get away with it. I've put a hold on my GM Card, but I expect to cancel it fully when everything is resolved so they can't keep doing this to me.

If anyone finds a way to get through to these jerks, then please let us all know!
