Bally Total Fitness is a world reknowned robber, there have been several cases and judgements against them, but surprisingly they are continuing their shady activities, even being promoted by other companies in their cheating business.

I received an free trial offer from Bally Total Fitness, Manhattan Beach, CA. For last six years I have not been to any gym and have not done any exercise because of a severe injury due to an accident six years back.

After I received this offer from Bally Total Fitness, I just was curious and wanted to see if I can move myself at all. So I went to local Bally Total Fitness, Manhattan Beach, CA and talked to them about their offer. I explained them all my problems and told them that I won't be able to use the gym at all but want to try to do something very light to see if at all I can do that.

Bally Total Fitness workers talked to me and told me, instead of few weeks of free offer, I should try this gym for three months and see the result. I agreed, they got me sign some papers. I asked them if it is any contract, they said no. They didn't give me a copy either.

I went to the gym 3-4 times, could not do anything because of my injury. So I stopped going there, later I called up and asked them to close my account anyway. They kept on taking money for months from my credit card. Later they started sending me threatenig letters etc saying I have a three year contract with them.

More surprisingly, my Sears master card (Sears, another cheat robbing company) account started giving me weird trouble. I found that Bally Total Fitness and Sears master card are playing this robbing and cheating game together, hand in hand.

I am really stunned by Bally Total Fitness and Sears way of running a robbing gang. How on earth they continue doing these even when their activities are well known and even punished earlier.
