Ripoff Misleading Customer Service Nightmare

Just got off the phone with one of the rudest customer service reps ever. My company health care plan utilizes VBA to provide 'free' vision benefit coverage. Well, they say you get what you pay for and VBA doesn't provide much. Their list of participating optometrists is short to say the least - I opted to keep the one I had and eat out of pocket copayments rather than drive 25 miles out to get to the next nearest VBA provider.

They claim to reimburse eye exam contacts once a year, but they pulled a technicality and explained it is really only every 12 months - I had to go in for my eye examination a little earlier than usual this year but VBA refuses to cover the charges - the sole basis of the rejection was that it wasn't exactly 12 months from the last eye exam. The customer service manager handling the case refused to budge and was unbelievably rude on the phone.

I'm so pi*ed at the situation I am considering reorganizing my entire health care arrangement, I don't want another dime of my hard earned money going to this company.
