Unauthorized charge for ecurve, Better Business Bureau response ripoff

I ordered the free trial of Ultraburn PM (like an idiot). I am wary of offers like this, so I read the terms carefully - though not carefully enough, it seems. All seemed to be going as it should until a charge for something called ecurves showed up on my account. I hadn't the slightest idea what it was. I called the 800 number by the charge, but the "corporate offices" were not open, so I performed a Google search to try to find "ecurves" and followed the trail to ratetheoffers where I found a handful of people complaining about this company sneaking them into ecurves with the "free" offer.

Up until this point I actually had no idea the pills and ecurves were at all related. Oddly (or not) neither Google nor Yahoo search hit on the actual ecurves web site. I suppose they go to great pains to keep it hidden?

So I called the number again later and after holding for a long time, spoke to a customer service rep (who did not give me her name) who gave me my password and username and canceled the autoship (which I had to specifically request - she did not ask if I would also like to cancel the autoship). I'd like to know WHY I am required to call these people to get this information? If I am a "member", shouldn't I KNOW how to log on to use the service? I never received an email or snailmail letter or anything. SHADY!

I reported it to the Better Business Bureau on February 27th and received a response on March 7th. Ultralife says I should have read the terms and conditions more carefully and will not receive a refund. BULLSH-! WHERE in the terms is this ecurves crap!? Where!? I looked all through and did not see it!

I see I am not the only one, here. If it is there, it is well-hidden, which seems rather dishonest to me. I suppose time will tell if they make any more debits to my account.
