Design Savers
Charged us for a 30 day trail charged us monthly on our credit card until we discovered it ripoff

We did not have any health insurance so I did a search on the internet, Design Savers contacted me by phone and offered me what sounded like a TOO Good to be true offer, and told me that they would let us try a 30 day trail offer for $289.45, and they would be sending us information in the mail. If we decided to continue with the service we were to return what we got in the mail.

We were told on the phone that this would be a one time debit on our charge card, and I told the women on the phone that if we decided to take this plan we would pay for it using our checking account, that we were trying to pay the card off and did not want to add additional charges to the card. She insisted that we had to use the card for the initial payment but assured me that if we decided to continue the plan we would have to notify the company and could sit up a payment plan using our checking account than.

We do not use this credit card any more than is absolutly nessecary and have it set to automatic payments on the internet so I do not check it often. The call came in August of last year. This month while I was preparing our taxes and other books I went to see how much we had paid off on our card and found the balance was higher than it had been.

Design Savers has been charging our account with $127.50 plus an additional $36.95 every month since October. We never received anything from these people in the mail, we have never received another call from them on the phone, nothing just the charge to our credit card.
