I met with a personal trainer at LA Fitness in Orlando, FL for my "free" session with Body of Change. After the session I then sat down with the trainer and the manager, Lauren McManus. We came up with a reasonable price, but I told her I did not want to sign the contract until I talked to my husband about it, since it affects our budget. She told me to go ahead and sign it now and if it looks like I can't do it, to just call and let her know and she won't turn it in. I trusted in her word and signed it. 3 weeks later I find $199 taken out of my bank account. I called the manager and explained to her what happened. She called me back a few days later and apologized for the mishap and said she was filling out the paper work that day and taking care of it.

6 weeks later I got a letter telling me that my account was now in default and it has been reported on my credit report. I tried calling Body of Change several times and even wrote a letter to the manager, but never got a response. Now I owe money to the company and it appears negatively on my credit report because of a false promise given by the manager at Body of Change. It's all about greed!!! It looks like a lot of people have complained about this company. We really should do a class action suit against them. This has to stop!!
