Daiwa ripoff, fraudenlent contracts California

I just received a collections letter stating that I owed Bally Fitness 1380.00 for a 36 month contract they say I signed in 1992.in 1992 I was in Houston for two months and knew I was moving to Austin permantly. I never would have knowingly signed a 36 month agreement. They have never tried to get in touch with me until 13 years later. I have had the same phone number since 1992! Does anyone know about class action suits against this company?
