Ripoff I paid a toatl of $360.00 and only recieved 3 sessions!

Like many others I recieved a free session with Beyond Fitness when I joined Gold's gym. My session ended with an intense sales pitch. I was told by the manager that if I became pregnant (we were trying) they would stop my monthly draft and put my aacount on hold until after the baby was born. That's when you'll really need anyway. So I sined up. I paid first & last month up front and had my second month drafted. I paid a toatl of $360.00 and only recieved 3 sessions! The trainers were new every other day.

I became pregnant and requested they put my account on hold. I was told by the new manager that they no longer honor the policy. They would continue to draft my account and just extend the life of my membership. I told him that I should be grandfathered in under the old policy due to when I signed up and due to what I was told at the time of signing up. I was not interested in paying for something that wasn't even availble to me before I became pregnant!

I sent a certified letter to the Atlanta office along with a note from my doctor requesting they freeze my account ubtil June, 05. I also stated in my letter that I had instructed my bank to stop the monthly draft. They never responded. I just recently discovered that they are reporting me late to the credit bureaus which is ruining my good credit! I have sent another certified letter to them along with a $250.00 check to cancel my membership to try and save my credit and they haven't responded to that either. I have been ripped-off big time!
