Terrible! - Suffolk County OB/GYN

I was going to these people from the beginning of my pregnancy 07 up until I was 36 weeks pregnant, apparently there were few changes with my insurance that they weren't aware of. When I received my new card on the mail I showed it to the receptionist and she said not to worry the number still the same, nothing has changed. So for two month I was seeing at this office WITHOUT coverage. About 3 visits and a sono which I will not be responsible for. My point is, I got a call the day before of my next sono to cancel my apt because of the insurance, they were so care less about my baby's health or mine. I started to dilate the next couple of days. I HAD NO DOCTOR!!! No one would take me sooner because I was a new patient. They didn't eve help me to find a doctor right away. I was so frustrated I think I went to labor earlier because of this! I will never recommend this place for anyone! These people don't care about their patients. They didn't even try to request an extension of care so I could be seeing for another 2 or 3 weeks. We could have worked something out I'm sure. Thank god I found Stony Brook OB/GYN. They were incredible, took me right away. Don't have to wait FOREVER to be seeing at my scheduled appts. Thinks do happen for a reason!
