Unsanitary extremely rude nursing staff (few exceptions) hours late with meds

I have been wanting to report this hospital for years but didn't really know how to go about it. A family member, however, now has the names and addresses of the agencies who need to be notified in situations like this. We wont stop until there is a 100% improvement in the only hospital our town has. I do want to add that there many doctors, nurses, etc., that deserve a better work environment and have gone out of their way to see to the needs of patients.

Overall, the hospital is unclean and I have wittnessed first-hand unsafe proceedures. Dried blood on the hipopotamous examination table and splattered on floor in the pediatric exam room of the emergency room. A nurse stuck hypodermic needle in mattress of hipopotomous exam table after giving my child an injection instead of using sharps container. My grandson was just released from 4 day hospital stay for what we are not sure because three doctors had three conflicting diagnoses' but was not treated with any antibiotics. We spoke with several patients who were being treated with antibiotics for the same exact thing my gr. Son still has. He was given meication for nausia and had a serious reaction but did they nothing about it. They used an adult sized instument on him for a lower GI and only after trying to force it twice causing him to scream out to stop did they get a smaller one. The smaller one had to be manualy held in place and they made him hold it himself.

IV not properly secured. X-ray of chest was done when in ER when they thought he had appendesitis. Prescribed antacids, but was given to hime 2 and three hours late. Same doctor that was overheard stating that he did not want to see results of lower GI ordered a second lower GI, taking him of all food and liquids, then canceled the test after we refused but did not change the orders to let him eat. After 9 hours and being lied to by the charge nurse that the doctor would be in, knowing that he would not even be on call a very nice nurse that came on at shift change finaly put a call into the doctor and brought him something to drink. The previous shift told us that was not possible to put a call into the doctor to change the orders.

There is too much more to list here, but I will update with where to read outcome of reports to other agencies when that information becomes available. I just wanted to get have something out now to warn others of what they could possibly be subjected to if they use this hospital and ER.

Thanks to this sight I also found out very helpful information about company that I almost trusted. It saved me from being a victim of fraud.
