AFS Deceptive Sign up Practices by their Reps ripoff

I have been researching insurance plans for my employer and myself as an individual. I have been speaking to an agent representing Americans for Financial Security and Mega Life & Health. I have spoken w / her several times & even met with her to go over the plan basics. Each time I have spoken with her I specifically ask her for a copy of the policy specs & physician listing. I want to see exactly what doctors participate, what is covered, how it is covered, what is exdluded, how the deductible is determined, what prescriptions are covered & what rate, etc.

Each time she sends me information it is anything but what I asked for. Why would the rep refuse to send me a copy of the policy??? I want to make an informed decision & it seems like the rep doesn't want to share the specs of the health/dental/prescription plan. She won't present me with an itemized cost either.

I met her in person about 3 weeks ago expecting to finally have the information I have been requesting.instead, she pulled out a blank piece of paper & wrote a total down for the plan. This still did not provide me with an itemized cost, policy, or any details.

I know this is not common practice, as an insurance rep visited us yesterday & left policies for several different plans and detailed information on cost & coverage for us to review.

Why is this rep being so evasive? Perhaps it is because there is something she doesn't want me to see? Wouldn't a reputable agent want to provide the consumer with the knowledge to make an informed decision? The company's website won't provide any information either. I am very skeptical on this.
