I went today to the Ashley Furniture store located at Waterford Lakes Mall in Orlando, FL 32828, to ask for an ex-change to the recliner I bought a week ago and was delivered yesterday. The recliner was defectious, and I just wanted a new one, same model and everything. After explaining this to 2 sale reps and 2 employees from Customer Service, I was told to sit and wait for the manager to approve the ex-change. After 45 minutes waiting, I went to the Customer Service Department to find out if it still was going to take any longer, it was then that they call the manager. This is the best part: the manager showed up already with a bad attitude, no introduction of himself or even a salute. He just started to say that the rules said they had to send a technician to corroborate the furniture was defectious, etc, etc. I never thought I could be so mistreated by a manager of a store this big. All I can say is I'll probably keep buying from Ashley in the future but never trom this store again. The way I was treated by this manager was humilliating and it was in front of my wife and kid. Shouldn't store managers be masters in Customer Service?
