Bloomington Collection
Bad service

Furniture & Equipment

I had pruchased the Martha Stewart Bloomington Collection from K-Mart. I had to make the purchase in 2 different stores because they did not have the entire collection. I bought the umbrella base that they showed with the collection. The base started to rust immediately, The umbrella would not close all the way because of a screw head (that I did not have the proper tool to tighten). When I tried to return it of course they didn't have anymore in stock. Well you guessed it because of the defective umbrella the glass in my table shattered. When I finally got a live person at one of the numbers listed on Marthas website I was informed that they are not responsible for the glass. As for the rusty umbrella base I was told that as soon as I took it out of the box I SHOULD HAVE SPRAYED IT WITH A RUSTOLEUM. So they want to send me $10. To go buy paint and repaint it. Martha Stewart farms her products out to be made and these companies do not want to stand behind their products and Martha's company does not want to take any responsibility at all. I work for a living Martha and to spend my money on garbage is not "a good thing".

Please Martha step up and take responsibility for the products that you are putting your name on. Do the right thing.
