I bought a 12 place settings plus serving platters and a number of the dishes started crazing in the first year. I returned them and the store graciously replaced the pieces but told me not to put them in the oven. I never put plates, cups. Saucers etc.in the oven.

After three years of retuning a couple of dishes twice a year the pattern was discontinued.By the fourth year 80% of the dishes were severely crazed. I boxed up the whole set and tried to get store credit but I was told it was too late. What a disappointment to have spent so much on what should have been a lifetime use product only to find it unsafe and unsightly to use with no recourse. I'll never shop for any china products at Crate and Barrel again.
