Faulty billing, poor customer service ripoff

When I switched cell phone companies I looked at the paperwork I received from Alltel when I signed up and it didn't say anywhere on there what sort of contract I had. There was, however, a small box that said that there would be early termination fees if terminated before 12 months, so I thought 12 months was my contract due date and I switched services because there were constant billing problems.

Now they keeping telling me I owe them the termination fee, taxes, and service for a month in which I had their service for only 3 days and made two calls. I've emailed and called and faxed them my paperwork and can't get anywhere. Very disappointed.
